Where can I live while I attend school?

The optimal place to live is at home which will keep the cost of attendance low. Should this not be an option below is a list of lodging options. Please note that this is not an all inclusive list of lodging options and that AWA does not recommend specific options.

Enrollment

What do I need to enroll in Skill Training courses?

  1. You need to have a high school diploma or a G.E.D.
  2. A copy of your Driver’s License , Military ID
  3. A copy of your DD-214 if applicable.
  4. You will need to complete the Arkansas Welding Academy Application and send it to AWA with a non-refundable $100.00 registration fee.

Where is Arkansas Welding Academy Located?

AWA is located at 1920 N. Redmond Rd. Jacksonville, AR 72076. 

AWA has one campus.

What form of payment is required?

AWA accepts cash, corporate checks, money orders, traveler’s checks and company purchase orders.

What should I expect after I enroll?

  • AWA will acknowledge your enrollment by mail with a confirmation packet that includes your start dates.

What should I send with my enrollment form?

  • AWA requires a $100.00 registration fee before we can process your application.
  • Contact the financial services office to make arrangements of financial assistance.

  • Upload or include a copy of your high school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Provide a copy of a state or federally issued picture ID.

When should the enrollment form be submitted?

Your enrollment form should be submitted at least 30 days prior to the date you intend to begin classes should you be accepted.

Where can I get an enrollment form?

What courses are offered?

  • The Master Pipe and Structural Welding Course
  • OSHA 30 Construction Safety and Health
  • OSHA 10 Construction Safety and Health 

When do classes start?

  • Two to four weeks in advance of the start date is recommended to assure a reservation in the class that you wish to take.
